1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use Zarify:

• Account information - your name and email address, provided through Google Sign-In.
• Portfolio data - stock holdings, transactions, cash balances, and portfolio names you enter.
• App preferences - theme, fee/tax settings, watchlist, and disclaimer acceptance.
• Usage & crash data - anonymous diagnostics collected through Firebase Crashlytics to help us fix bugs.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data solely to provide and improve the portfolio tracking service:

• Authenticate you and maintain your account.
• Store and sync your portfolio data across your devices.
• Compute portfolio performance, P&L, and historical snapshots.
• Improve app stability via crash and error reporting.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Realtime Database), hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure in the United States. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Firebase Security Rules ensure only you can read or write your own data.

4. Third-Party Services

The app integrates with the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase - database, authentication, crash reporting, and hosting. Subject to Firebase Privacy Policy.
• Google Sign-In - used exclusively for authentication. Subject to Google Privacy Policy.

Market price data displayed in the app is sourced from publicly available endpoints and is used solely for displaying prices within the app. We do not store or share this data beyond what is necessary to render portfolio values.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account (via Settings → Delete Account or by contacting us), all personal data - including portfolios, holdings, transactions, and your user profile - is permanently deleted from our active databases immediately. Residual copies in automated backups are purged within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

• Access - view all your data directly within the app.
• Deletion- delete your account and all data via Settings → Delete Account, or visit our Account Deletion page.
• Portability - export your transaction data as CSV via the Reports section.
• Correction - edit your portfolio data at any time within the app.

7. Children's Privacy

Zarify is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
